The computer lab has become a central point of contact for more than just exercises in support of our lecture classes. As well as learning computer assisted programs in such areas as safety and sanitation, supervision, purchasing, costing, and other industry related programs, students have access to the Internet and a free email account. Lab assistants, qualified in both computer technology and the food service industry, are available during lab hours to assist those who have questions. The lab is also the place to get the latest information on daily changes around school, volunteer opportunities, apply for industry scholarships such as the Texas Restaurant Association and Les Dames Escoffier, and enter contests and competitions. The lab is located in room C150 and is open Monday thru Thursday from 10:00AM 'til 7:00PM and on Fridays from 10:00AM 'til 2:00PM. Come by and see Cindy and Pat! They will be happy to help you! |
