El Centro College offers three Fashion Marketing Programs through its Business and Public Service Division: Fashion Marketing – Associate in Applied Sciences Degree This two-year program is designed for those interested in careers related to fashion wholesaling and retailing. Students explore merchandising, buying, textiles, display, advertising and computer applications in the fashion industry. Emphasis is placed on cooperative work experience which give the student necessary preparation and experience needed for an entry-level position. Visual Merchandising Assistant Certificate This certificate program is designed to prepare students for career opportunities as retail wholesale coordinators and visual display associates in a variety of fashion settings. Department Manager Enhanced Skills Certificate This certificate program is designed to develop management skills for those students who have completed the Fashion Marketing AAS degree and who desire to manage their own business or a obtain a position as an assistant manager for a fashion retail chain store organization. |
