Young American Talent

The Arts and Sciences Division at El Centro College announces a juried exhibition of talented high school visual arts students from the North Texas area. Sponsored in collaboration with the Visual Arts Guild of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, the show will feature over 100 artworks in all media.

Jurors for the event include Dallas sculptor Martin Delabano, Denton fiber artist Martha Falsetta, and Dallas ceramicist Rebecca Boatman. Jurors for YAT typically look at well over 600 entries, before making the final selections and choosing award winners.

The exhibition will be on view beginning March 5th and continue through to the closing reception on April 1st. The gallery and campus of El Centro College will be closed for Spring Break from Saturday March 10th through Sunday March 18th.
