| This course explores front/back end dynamic website development
through database connectivity using multimedia rich interfaces,
site management and maintenance tools. Topics include Third
Party Solutions from a variety of vendors, cost analysis of
in-house development vs. external solutions. Students will
understand the difference between static web designs vs. dynamic
presentation. The student will also develop the ability to
create dynamic websites using Apache, PHP and MySQL. |

and install the Java SDK1.5 and Blue J software. Microsoft
Windows 2000, NT, 98, or 95 Operating System on Intel platform.
Minimum pentium 166 MHZ-recommended> 300 MHZ. At least 48 mbytes
or physical ram-recommended 64 bytes. Minimum of 150 mbytes free
disk space-recommended>300 mbytes. Students without a home
